Cost Analyst (Mid-Sr)- with construction industry experience

Summary of Position
Responsibilities:
-Assist the Controller with month-end closings (journal entry preparation) and analysis (both job costing, percentage of completion calculations and account reconciliations) -Assist with financial data reporting, including but not limited to financial statements, audit reports, insurance information, etc.
-Back up HR with weekly PR prep and input.
Includes breakdown of hours/job for payrolls -Liaison w/ outsource company to ensure compliance re:
business license, contractor license, tax filings.
-Assist with budgeting cycles and assist Controller & CFO in the preparation and maintenance of accurate budgets.
-Assist Controller during audit process and with prep of audit schedules.
-Serve as backup for the Controller as necessary for various functions Experience, Competencies and Education Requirements:
-Appropriate industry experience, preferably in the construction sector.
-Minimum 4 years of job costing and business/financial experience.
-Accounting degree and strong knowledge of US GAAP -QuickBooks is a must.
-Profitool or some other job costing software experience is desired.
-Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex financial and contract documents Please forward a resume and cover letter to:
Salary:
$45-$55K.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
