PART-TIME SENIOR STYLIST (Atlanta) LEARN THE ART OF HUETIFUL.
Join Huetiful Salon on its quest to replace improper Cosmetology education with Stylist to Consumer education through Huetiful brand philosophy.
It is the Huetiful philosophy that a cosmetologist's duty is to inform the consumer on proper cleansing, hydration, strengthening and moisture practices to ensure manageability and scalp/hair health.
COMPANY DESCRIPTION REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Must have 7 or more years of advanced cosmetology experience with a Georgia license in master cosmetology.
Licensed instructors are welcome to apply.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Master of hair science, hair cuts and hair color Hair science includes communicating the functions of the hair shaft to clients as it relates to our product line Proper manipulation of a variety of textures in a wet and dry state Ability to create a polished look varying from flat ironed styles to basic natural styling and updos Up to date knowledge on latest trends and techniques in the natural hair community, and the ability to dispel myths about natural hair HUETIFUL BRAND TRAINING INCLUDES The Art of Huetiful hair steam treatments Mastering hair texture (straight, curly, wavy or frizzy hair) The truth about Hair Smoothing Proper shampoo and conditioning treatments Basic protective styling Thermal Styling Hair trimming treatments Client service Personal beauty branding Huetiful product retail selling TRAINING PROCESS New hires will have a shadow and training period to become familiar with Huetiful Salon Practices.
Length of shadowing will be determined by assessed skill level.
