91357 Description Summary Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Planning:
Assists audit management in the development of audit engagement project plans.
Assists in performing entity:
level risk assessments.
Contributes knowledge and experience while assisting in planning and scheduling audits and in developing audit procedures, questionnaires and tests.
Adheres to the requirements of the IPPF when planning and conducting engagements.
Execution:
Implements and adjusts project plans to ensure engagement delivery in accordance with project budgets and timelines.
Supervises resource workload and task prioritization on audit and advisory engagements.
Leads the day:
to:
day tactical execution of audit engagements.
Applies the TSYS Internal Audit methodology to meet specific audit engagement objectives; selects and uses a variety of automated and manual tools and techniques to obtain relevant information that supports achievement of audit objectives.
Performs thorough discovery activities to gain a working knowledge of the audit program.
Supports Level I and Level II auditors in producing high quality reports and other deliverables.
Develops and ensures that working papers are a true reflection of all activities performed during the audit engagement.
Tracks and reports progress on goals and milestones to project leadership.
Discusses engagement results, their impact, and recommendations with the engagement project manager.
Prepares or assists the engagement project manager in preparing the first draft of formal written audit reports.
Partners with the project manager to assess the adequacy of the corrective actions taken by management, stakeholders, or process owners to improve governance, risk management and control issues.
Exemplifies and monitors due professional care when conducting audits.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities by Specialty External Assurance Auditor/Analyst Senior:
Responsible for managing and participating in all aspects of SSAE 16 / SAS70 audit services delivery.
Plans, organizes, and leads SSAE 16 audits.
Coordinates with external auditors on their audit of the organization's IT general controls and key systems/reports that support financial statements and relevant operational processes.
SOX Auditor/Analyst Senior:

Performs the audit in accordance with the approved audit work program, organizational policies and procedures, SOX standards, and generally accepted accounting principles.

Ensures that internal control documents, including process narratives, flowcharts and matrices of risks and controls for processes are compliant with SOX requirements.
